Anom Sugiswoto is a professional photographer and film stills photographer based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
With extensive experience and dedication to the visual industry, this Pontianak native (born in 1985) focuses his expertise on capturing film scene stills (unit stills), on-set actor portraits, intimate behind-the-scenes moments during production, and live music photography.
Able to work quietly without disrupting the filming process, this Communication Science alumnus of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Yogyakarta builds essential trust with actors and crew members alike, enabling him to deliver exquisite behind-the-scenes imagery. Collaborating with various feature film production houses, Anom serves as an eye behind the scenes, documenting the dynamic energy of the cinema industry while also capturing the vibrant essence of the local live music scene.
His recent portfolio includes the action-crime series adaptation *Pertaruhan: The Series* (2022), the supernatural horror film *Waktu Maghrib* (2023), a zombie-themed action-thriller series with a local flavor, *Zona Merah: The Series* (2024), and the action film *Ikatan Darah* (2025). In 2016, Anom co-founded WEARETHEFANS.NET, an initiative dedicated to compiling a digital photo archive that documents the presence of music fans at events—particularly music gigs/concerts, art exhibitions, parties and skate jams.
When not on filming location set or behind the camera, Anom works as a road manager for the legendary Indonesian ska band Shaggydog and pursues his passion as a part-time music selector (DJ).
